Sagara Sanosuke, on horseback, pauses for a moment to overlook the harbor where, he has heard, his friend Himura Kenshin has been rescued from a near-drowning. Much older, with longer hair and more stubble than in the TV series, this version of Sanosuke made an incredible impression on me the first time I saw him.
