The Battousai is barely held in check.
Don't make me angry. You wouldn't like me when I'm angry.
Kenshin, the Hitokiri Battousai, turns in the midst of a pitched battle with the Shinsengumi.
Kenshin stands in the sun, sword at the ready.
Kenshin looking particularly grim and focused as his flame-red hair blows to the side.
'Oro...' Poor Kenshin gets lumps on his head as Kaoru beats on him.
A glorious fan cel from the Kenshin opening.
A young, and very imposing, Hitokiri Battousai.
I don't want to make Kenshin any angrier than this. It's just too scary.
Battousai the Manslayer makes the cut that changes his life.
Let us pause for a moment to consider the feral beauty that is Kenshin as he turns Battousai.
Lovely watercolor of Kenshin in a lighter moment.

The Battousai is barely held in check.

Kenshin - Fan Art (12)
Threaten any of the people he loves, and easygoing Kenshin turns deadly. He's incredibly frightening when this expression crosses his face, for even though he wields a Sakabato (reversed-blade sword) to keep from killing, he could just as easily flip it over and end a life. This was my first attempt to do Kenshin, a character who will always hold a place of primacy in my heart. Since I love this particular shot, some day as my skill improves I will re-do this cel.
