Leorio is one of the first people Gon befriends in his quest to become a Hunter. Leorio is the "adult" in Gon's group, although sometimes it's hard to tell. Under all his bluster, bragaddocio, and posturing, Leorio is a serious and caring man who wants to become a doctor and needs the money he can earn by being a Hunter to further that dream.
